PhD Studentships available at Westminster - study with ISULabaNtu

The Faculty of Architecture and the Built Environment (FABE) at the University of Westminster (the host institution of our principle investigator and several co-investigators) is offering three MPhil/PhD studentships, to start in September 2017.

The scholarships are open to candidates with Home/EU fee status only.

They are full-time only for three years and include an annual stipend of £16,000 and a Home/EU fee waiver.

As part of the studentship, candidates will be required to undertake up to six hours teaching per week.

The final university deadline for full applications is 5pm on 10 February 2017.

We wish to encourage and actively support high quality MPhil/PhD applications in areas that align with those of the ISULabaNtu project.

If you are interested in applying for a PhD at Westminster to work alongside ISULabaNtu please:

1. Assess whether ISULabaNtu's focus align with your own;

2. Confirm that you are eligible for Home/EU fee status;

3. If the answer to 1 and 2 is ‘yes’, please email Dr Maria Christina Georgiadou (C.Georgiadou@westminster.ac.uk) as soon as possible with a 300-word abstract of your ISULabaNtu-relevant idea (including context, question and method) and a one-page CV;

4. Finally, take a look at the University of Westminster application process for these awards, particularly noting that applicants will be required to develop an outline research proposal.

Please note: Though the ISULabaNtu project is funded by the ESRC and NRF, these studentships are funded by the University of Westminster.
